THE PICS BELOW LINK TO IMAGES IN BITMAP ( . BMP ) FORMAT, & WILL NEED SOME CONVERSION BEFORE YOU CAN USE THEM AS ICONS. THE CONVERSION PROCEDURE IS SIMPLE , & INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING STEPS :

2. NOW , OPEN UP EACH SAVED BITMAP FILE USING WINDOWS ' DEFAULT EDITOR, MS PAINT. (THE COLORED AREA SURROUNDING EACH IMAGE WILL BE TREATED BY WINDOWS AS A TRANSPARENT COLOR)

3. SAVE THE FILE AS A 256-COLOR BITMAP WHILE AT THE SAME TIME ADDING THE EXTENSION ". ICO " TO ITS FILENAME.

4. YOUR ICON IS NOW READY FOR USE. RIGHT-CLICK ON AN EMPTY AREA OF YOUR DESKTOP, SELECT " PROPERTIES ", THEN " EFFECTS ". ASSIGNING YOUR NEW ICON WILL BE PRETTY SELF-EXPLANATORY FROM THERE. ENJOY!
